I dont wanna lose myself in the process

"I want to give light but not live the candle. I dont want to loose myself in the process. Generosity and self-presentation should be allowed by self"

                        I agree, cause in life we need to be unselfish sometomes because the more you give, The more the blessings will come.

                           It touched my heart, I, myself to got this kind of experience, where I dont want to loose myself in the process of giving to much and being kind to everybody. I need to save myself before saving someone else.

                           I have this group of friends, where I always give advices, give answers and etc. I thought when I need them, they will be there for me but no, they were busy while I before prioritize them while I was busy. They abused me and I almost loose myself.

                          The quotes means that in every generosity we do, we must not lose ourself in the act of generosity. We must save and love ourself, We want to give and give but we must not give ourself too much cause people knows how to abuse and abuse.

                         Apply generosity with care and knowledge, dont be abuse by people who doesnt know what's generosity is. Control our great personality cause not everyone has your kind of personality that beats every people's personality. "You are the best", we all need to remember that.

                        It gives us a new idea to know the limitations of being a generous person, to know the limitations of giving something and not loosing ourselves. Many people loose themselves while being so generous until they got abused and abused without them knowing.

Judgement of Paris

JUDGEMENT OF PARIS

When Eris, goddess of strife, isn't invited to the wedding of Peleus and Thetis, the spiteful goddess tosses a golden apple into the crowd, with the words "to the fairest" written on it. This causes a big argument among HeraAthena, and Aphrodite over who is the most beautiful goddess. The job of beauty contest judge falls on Paris of Troy, who decides that Aphrodite is the fairest after she promises him the hand of Helen of Sparta. Unfortunately, Helen is the wife of Menelaus, King of Sparta, so when Paris makes off with his prize, the Trojan War quickly follows after.

The Illiad

 the whole poem is essentially a description of war and fighting. There is a sense of horror and futility built into Homer‘s chronicle, and yet, posed against the viciousness, there is a sense of heroism and glory that adds a glamour to the fighting: Homer appears both to abhor war and to glorify it. Frequent similes tell of the peacetime efforts back home in Greece, and serve as contrasts to the war, reminding us of the human values that are destroyed by fighting, as well as what is worth fighting for.

The Story of Creation

God was very pleased with his creation. Six times throughout the process of creating, God stopped, observed his handiwork and saw that it was good. On final inspection of all that he had made, God regarded it as "very good." This is a great time to remind ourselves that we are part of God's creation. Even when you don't feel worthy of his pleasure, remember that God made you and is pleased with you. You are of great worth to him.

Trojan War

TROJAN WAR

Image result for trojan war"

  War teaches us about the importance of exercising our free will. It teaches us to make every second of our lives count and relish the feeling of contentment that comes with the knowledge that you can stand against your enemies (people or obstacles) even when the odds seemed stacked up against you. It is with such a mentality that you can begin to realize your dreams and begin experiencing miracles. War also teaches us to keep our hopes alive. Hope is abstract, but the repercussions of losing hope can be detrimental to any life. Being hopeful is one of the most important lessons that can be learned from war.

No, Trojan War never happened, It's because the story falls into the category of myth.
The myth of the Trojan War was certainly truth for Greek speaking people living 27 centuries ago. They believed that their ancestors took part in the events of the war. Their descendants continued to believe the story was true for about 1000 years. And yet, although we understand today that the Trojan War story is myth, full of supernatural and very unlikely events,

"There can be respect between enemies", It is said that we can be measured by the worth of our enemies. I hold that to be of great importance. We are defined by the opposition to our actions. An obstacle is what makes us want to move forward, what makes us become better to overcome it. A rival is precisely that. In our struggle against each other, we become better. So, an enemy is not to be hated but cherished for he provides the opportunity for improvement. And finally, Priam’s actions show that there can be respect between adversaries.

 In wars, There will always be bloodshed but in every bloodshed, there will always be this abstract feeling called "Hope". Hope will never leave our side, Hope is the only key in order for us to not give up in certain things even though we know the we cant do it or we are giving up. But hope will always be there for to us to help us realize that we can do things without giving up. Hope is in all of us.

DESIDERATA: The truth

    Desiderata

    Go placidly amid the noise and haste,
    and remember what peace there may be in silence.
    As far as possible without surrender
    be on good terms with all persons.
    Speak your truth quietly and clearly;
    and listen to others,
    even the dull and the ignorant;
    they too have their story.
    Avoid loud and aggressive persons,
    they are vexations to the spirit.
    If you compare yourself with others,
    you may become vain and bitter;
    for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
    Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.

    Keep interested in your own career, however humble;
    it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
    Exercise caution in your business affairs;
    for the world is full of trickery.
    But let this not blind you to what virtue there is;
    many persons strive for high ideals;
    and everywhere life is full of heroism.

    Be yourself.
    Especially, do not feign affection.
    Neither be cynical about love;
    for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment
    it is as perennial as the grass.

    Take kindly the counsel of the years,
    gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
    Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune.
    But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings.
    Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.
    Beyond a wholesome discipline,
    be gentle with yourself.

    You are a child of the universe,
    no less than the trees and the stars;
    you have a right to be here.
    And whether or not it is clear to you,
    no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

    Therefore be at peace with God,
    whatever you conceive Him to be,
    and whatever your labors and aspirations,
    in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul.

    With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams,
    it is still a beautiful world.
    Be cheerful.
    Strive to be happy.

    By Max Ehrmann

              Most of us probably don’t believe we need a formal definition of happiness; we know it when we feel it, and we often use the term to describe a range of positive emotions, including joy, pride, contentment, and gratitude. But to understand the causes and effects of happiness, researchers first need to define it. Many of them use the term interchangeably with “subjective well-being,” which they measure by simply asking people to report how satisfied they feel with their own lives and how much positive and negative emotion they’re experiencing.

                      "Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others", This quote means that as we speak the truth we must do it quietly and clearly to avoid humilation and to avoid misunderstandings. As we speak the truth, The truth must be clear in order for us to know that the person we speak knows the truth we said.  Listen to others for our truth maybe not be the persons true story.

                            The poem, helped me expressed the inner truths of someone we dont know. It helped me not to judge someone quickly cause we thought our "TRUTHS" to that person is actually true. Every people, the dull and the ignorant. They have their own truths in their life too.

                            I conclude that in every opinion I said has its own's truth, I need to find the truth of every person I know, I find the this certain thing that they want to achieve or to get and I want to know the truth of a true happiness. I've been finding it since I was little but I was uncessful but I know one day. I'll find it.

PREPAREDNESS PLAN

The Republic of India is a country that lies on the Indian Plate, a major tectonic plate that is located on the eastern hemisphere, it is surrounded by 6 other tectonic plates - namely, the Arabian Plate, the Australian Plate, the Burma Plate, the Eurasian Plate, the Somali Plate, and the Sunda Plate.
The Republic of the Philippines is a country that lies on a complex portion of the tectonic boundary between the Eurasian Plate, the Philippine Sea Plate, and the Sunda Plate. It is also located in the Pacific Ring of Fire.
India has an earthquake preparedness plan that is straight to the point but it's downsides are that it is quite short and it only touches the basics on most of the topics that it talks about. It would be better if it were a bit lengthier and would be filled with more information on the different topics in it. The basics on structural systems, identifying the weaknesses of a structure, and retrofitting a structure is already quite useful but it does not contain the precise details on how you exactly do them and what other procedures should be followed.
India and the Philippines are both third-world countries, but the Philippines is more likely to have less damage when it comes to earthquakes since it is more developed and is already used to the occasional earthquakes due to their position in the Pacific Ring of Fire. Another advantage that Philippines has is it's literacy rate which is around 95.0% , compared to India's 69.0%, it obviously tops it.
India is a country with great resources that can be used to help lessen damages from earthquakes but it is held back by it's economic freedom and the literacy of their people. The Philippines is also a country with great resources and is already quite prepared for earthquakes but it is currently held back by it's slowing growth.
To conclude this reflection, India's earthquake preparedness plan is better if you plan to learn the basics while Philippines' earthquake preparedness plan, compared to India's, is better if you plan to go a bit deeper into it's wide range of topics.

FAMILY DAY 2019

Another family day, ACT always has this annual event. The school invites the families of their students to show them what their children, siblings, cousins, or family relatives has been cooking for them. My day with this school year's family day was better than the last. The day started with me signing my name in the registration area close to the entrance of the school, I went to the grade-9's area so I can help prepare for the event and all my friends were there. It made the preparation was much fun with them around and even much more when we heard our level was called to dance. At first we were all so nervous and anxious, I look to my left and see them shaking and some were very confident that we would succeed. And we did unsurprisingly. After all that happened we started to relax and chill for a bit since all the pressure was off. It was starting to get dark and we started heading to our area so we can start eating dinner. Mostly it was very quiet after dinner and the dance things were calm, not much happened. I just talked to my friends about stuff and I went home. Overall it was a great relaxing day that made me forget some academicals requirements; it relieved my stress for a bit but enough to make me think clearly.
